A Caesar salad with kalamata olives, grilled portobello mushroom basted with garlic butter, garlic roasted red peppers, Roma tomatoes and authentic sheep’s milk feta cheese. Add all-natural grilled chicken for an additional charge.
This one is on island time. Enjoy jerk chicken and grilled pineapple topped with mushrooms, onions, green peppers, provolone, mayo, lettuce and Roma tomatoes. Served with your choice of Kettle Chips.
Balsamic marinated tempeh layered on top of mayo, lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and melted provolone. Finished with grilled onions, mushrooms and green peppers. Served on a garlic buttered hoagie roll. Served with your choice of Kettle Chips.
The only mystery is whether one is enough. Featuring a pesto base with button and portobello mushrooms, authentic sheep’s milk feta and mozzarella cheese, spinach and light jalapeños.
Start with a classic Mellow red sauce base with garlic, mozzarella, seasoned ricotta, pepperoni, salami, and sliced meatballs. Garnished with fresh basil, shaved Parmesan and crushed red pepper.
Sweet. Savory. And out of this world. An olive oil and garlic base, all-natural curry chicken, mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, onions, topped with fresh basil, cucumbers and a swirl of Thai chili sauce.

This place needs to be everywhere because it was amazing! About 32 beers on tap, great pizza and sandwiches. The art decor was fun. Very out of the box kind of vibe. Kid friendly and super nice staff. I ordered the "Havana hoagie" (full size), came with chips or tots. This sandwich was perfect and the bread was light and airy. The meats on the sandwich were to die for. We also ordered a pizza with amazing crust. You can ask for the waitress to party cut for smaller slices for the kids. I washed it down with a local NC ipa called "tropical". Located next to the river walk on the Cape Fear River.
Dive in! So good....so good. Cobb salad was fresh, bacon tasty and crunchy...perfect avocado, ripe. The pizza? Take a look. Spot on, balanced even with so many ingredients. Crust was perfect. Happy with the meal is an understatement! Chelsea was such a great server... the right questions at the right time and the best attitude (smiling🙂).
I had placed an order online for our Halloween party and ended up getting off work early. I got there and completely understood that they were busy! The wait ended up being a little long but the lovely hostess continued to keep me updated and apologized for the wait. I've been coming to the Mellow Mushroom since I was a kid and have never been let down. Thank you so much ❤️
This Mellow Mushroom is for sure 5 out of 5. Ambiance is superb indoors and also with outside seating. Our server was attentive with our order and with refills. We got the Pacific Rim pizza. The star of the show was actually the crust. It was fluffy and not chewy at the same time. Everything on the pie complimented each other. See my photo.
The views outside are incredible! Enjoyed The Great White pizza style in the outdoor seating area. My server was genuinely friendly! 😁 pizza was light and full of flavor at the same time. Perfect!
The atmosphere at this Mellow Mushroom is quite joyful. It is a very spacious restaurant in a great location with an awesome fun loving vibe. The seating is very comfortable and there is a nice bar to the left upon entering. The pizza selections are vast and the crust is really delicious in taste and texture. This is a really pleasant and delicious place to dine with family and friends. Staff is really super.
Tough to get a seat at most restaurants at peak times, but this one was surprisingly easy. The food was amazing!! I pizza with everything on it and it was great! My daughter had the best vegan pizza she's ever had here!! Hubby had an Italian sandwich and tots and also loved his food
This is the first burger I have eaten in months after a surgery and I must tell you it’s AMAZING. It’s not over seasoned or over cooked. I did not eat pizza but I will say that my child gave the pizza a 10 out of 10!!!! Our server Abby was delightful and very patient whilst everything on the menu looked so delicious we had a hard time deciding on our dinner. The prices are little bit higher ( by maybe a dollar or two) than your fast food places but worth even more than what I actually paid. Your entire family would enjoy the laid back cozy environment and exceptional food.
My server had recently turned 21 and not only did she go out of her way to look up the key notes in a local brew I ordered, she was attentive and never had to write a single thing down, my water glass was always full and everyone else was super friendly. Great art inside. Love the Mona Lisa with neon light flower in her hair. I got a Greek salad and it was super fresh and the mystery tour pizza 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
